Please mark your calendars for Monday Feb 23 at 4:00 pm at the West Waco library. (Glassed conference room adjacent to genealogy help desk.) We have a project for you:
Please bring at least one county name and state in which you can confirm you had an ancestor living during some part of the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783). We will need to know the surname. We will be working on a project with that surname. Next month bring another surname until you run out.
* If you can’t get back to an ancestor living during American Revolutionary War, please bring the surname that takes you closest to the time period 1775-1783 and any facts you have about that surname. A pedigree chart would be helpful.
We will also discuss resources on bridging gaps from 1850 to 1970.
And I would like to hear from any of you that attended Roots Tech.
